Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! We are so excited to meet all our new friends and see old faces again on the first day of school on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

Our Spanish-immersion school is made up of diverse and varied voices with a strong sense of community, solidarity, and support. Like our namesake Dolores Huerta, we are proud of our historical commitment to social activism and to ensuring all members of our community receive what they need. Drop off / Pick Up

We highly recommend biking or walking to school as there is not a lot of room for car drop off

    • Car drop off can only be done at the Chenery Street White Curb.

    • Do not block traffic during drop off

    • Do not drop off at the Randall Street White Curb as it is reserved for buses.

    • Pre-kinder parents must find a place to legally park and walk their children into the school

Mornings in the Quad

Join us before school in the quad each day around 8am for dancing, announcements, awards and other amazing activities. Mornings in the quad are truly what makes our school family so special.

Coffee with the PTA at the Rincóncito Table

Stop by the PTA’s “Rincóncito” table (on the blacktop near the San Jose Avenue parking lot) every day during the first week of school starting at 8:10 am for coffee with the PTA Board members. It’s a great chance to ask questions, buy school gear, and receive information about our Dolores Huerta Elementary community.

Room Rep – Every class needs at least two Room Reps to help share updates and organize activities for their child’s class
