Did you know your everyday spending can help raise funds for Dolores Huerta Elementary? There are several shop to earn programs where the school gets a cut of everything you spend.

Take 5 minutes and enroll in Dolores Huerta’s shopping programs like Amazon Smile, Benefit, and eScrip. And then take 5 more minutes and encourage everyone you know — relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers — to do the same. They don’t need to live in San Francisco to join.

NOTE: In August 2018 the school changed its name from Fairmount to Dolores Huerta Elementary. Many of the shopping programs below are still active under the old school name, but the benefits still go to the school.

Buy Dolores Huerta Elementary gear directly from the PTA at the Dolores Huerta Elementary Store.

The gray kids shirts can be used as the uniform shirt.

Rainbow Grocery

Sign up at register with your name & phone number, and Rainbow will donate 10% of your purchase price to DH.

Rainbow Grocery is a worker-owned cooperative grocery store. If you shop there, you can sign up for their scrip program, and they will donate 10% of the price of your purchases to Dolores Huerta PTA.  After the transaction is complete, the total amount of your purchase will be added to a running accrual for Dolores Huerta, calculated monthly.

Sports Basement

You can support Dolores Huerta Elementary by becoming a Basementeer! Sports Basement is spinning the traditional “loyalty” program into a win-win for their loyal customers and our community. Basementeer’s receive 10% and give 10%:

  • 10% off every item every day
  • 10% of profits back to Dolores Huerta Elementary

Box Tops for Education

For every pink Box Top, the PTA earns 10 cents. Buy your favorite Box Top products, like cereal, paper products, and office supplies. Then just download the mobile app here and scan your store receipts, which will automatically identify any Box Tops products and add them to our school’s earnings online.

eScrip

Register your credit / debit cards with local merchants (like Bristol Farms, Cal Mart, Lucky) and local restaurants (like Baby Blues BBQ, Francisca’s, Old Jerusalem), and the PTA will earn with every purchase.
