This section describes some of the resources available to families at Dolores Huerta Elementary School, which is in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD).
Resources, Activities and Strategies to Support Your Child
SFUSD created a helpful Standards Based Report Card (SRBC) Parent Resource webpage, a “companion guide” for families to help make sense of what grade-level expectations are for their child in all areas (Literacy, Math, Science, Social Emotional Development, Health). It also provides many useful resources and links to help families support their children outside of school.
The SFUSD Parent Companion Document provides a link to a PARENT TOOLKIT, a website (in both English and Spanish) that is designed to serve as a resource for parents to work with their children in very specific ways. You can search by subject area and/or age level and find strategies and activities to work with your child.
